COLLEGE BASEBALL: HORSEHEADS' RUSS OFF TO STRONG START FOR LEMOYNE BASEBALL (2025-03-11)
Southern Tier Sports ReportHorseheads graduate Dom Russ is hitting .326 on the year for the LeMoyne baseball team.
Russ has 14 hits in 13 games this year. He has five multi-hit games this season.
IN the most recent game, a win over FDU, the first win for LeMoyne this year, Russ had a hit, a walk and a career-high three RBI. He scored a run in the game.
Russ has 10 walks this year, a double and seen RBI with five runs scored.
He had two hits in each of the first two games of the year against Tennessee Tech. He also had two hits against Presbyterian and two hits in back-to-back games against Wofford.
Russ is third on the team in average. He’s third in OPS at .812. He’s one of only two players to start all 13 games this year and has the most at-bats on the team. He leads the team in hits and is tied for second in runs.
Russ is second on the team with a .463 on-base percentage and he leads the team in walks. He’s tied for the team lead with two stolen bases.
