COLLEGE BASEBALL: CAVALIER'S HITS GO-AHEAD HR FOR FIRST COLLEGIATE HIT FOR EC (2025-03-06)

Making his first start of the year, Elmira graduate Bobby Cavalier had a special first hit for Elmira College, blasting a go-ahead two-run home run in a 7-6 win over PItt-Bradford.

Down 4-3 at the time, Cavalier hit a two-run home run to left center on a 3-2 count. The home run gave the Soaring Eagles a lead they wouldn’t relinquish.

Cavalier has played in four games this year, he had one walk and a run scored against Ursinus earlier in the year.
