SECTION 4 BOYS' WRESTLING: EDISON HAS TWO PLACE WINNERS AT SECTIONALS (20 PHOTOS) (2025-02-16) Southern Tier Sports Report BINGHAMTON — Caden Southard was fourth and Greg Golden was a fifth-place finisher to headline Edison’s performances at the Section IV, Division II Championships at Visions Veterans Memorial Arena on Sunday.
Southard took fourth at 190 pounds for the Spartans. He fell by major decision, 10-2, to Brennen Riquier of Chenango Valley in the third-place match.
Southard had a 9-6 win to get into the quarterfinals. He fell to Riquier in the quarterfinals, before winning by fall in 38 seconds and 55 seconds and then winning 11-6 to get into the third-place match.
Golden won his fifth-place match by fall in 1:29 over Lucas Barnes of Deposit-Hancock.
Golden had a 16-2 major decision win to get into the semifinals. After falling in the semifinals and being edged 4-1 in the consolation round he won the fifth-place match.
Austin Donahue was 0-2 at 108. Aiden Quackenbush was 0-2 at 170.
Jace Schiller was 2-2 at 152. He had a pin in 1:56 and an 8-0 major decisionw in on the day.
