STAC BOYS' BASKETBALL: CORNING FALLS AT UNION-ENDICOTT (2025-02-08)
Southern Tier Sports ReportENDICOTT — The Corning boys’ basketball team suffered just their second loss of the season on Saturday, falling at Union-Endicott 84-68.
The Tigers jumped out to a 22-11 lead after one quarter and 49-32 at the half. Corning got within 64-54 after three quarters, but the Tigers were able to close out the game in the fourth.
Nolyn Proudfoot had 22 points for Corning with three rebounds and an assist and Kyler Stevenson had 13 points, with six boards, a steal and an assist.
Teigen Gill had 12 points, three boareds and an assist and a blocked shot and Nick Robbins, Kohl Hogue and Makai Daniels each finished with five points in the game.
Hogue had three rebounds, an assist and a steal, Daniels had an assist and Robbins had a rebound.
Spencer Castle had three points and a rebound and Cooper Bange had two points, a reobund and an assist and Carter Proudfoot had one point, five rebounds, an assist, a steal and three blocked shots.
Corning hosts Elmira at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
