HIGH SCHOOL BOYS' WRESTLING: ELMIRA HAS THREE PLACE WINNERS, 2 TAKE THIRD AT STAC CHAMPIONSHIPS (17 PHOTOS) (2025-01-25) Southern Tier Sports Report JOHNSON CITY —— The Elmira Express had three place winners, including a pair of third-place finishers at the STAC Boys’ Wrestling Championships on Saturday.
Max Collins of the Express finished third at 145. He pinned Matthew Mahon of Corning in 4:26 in the third-place match.
Lavonte Gibbons finished third at 138 for Elmira. He won the third-place match by fall in 29 seconds over Grant MacRabie of Chenango Forks.
Ryder DePadua-Reese finished fourth for the Express at 124 pounds. He fell by technical fall 17-0 in 3:31 to Travis White of Chenango Valley in the third-place match.
