STAC BOYS' WRESTLING: CORNING HAS THREE PLACE WINNERS AT STAC CHAMPIONSHIPS (19 PHOTOS) (2025-01-25) Southern Tier Sports Report JOHNSON CITY —— The Corning Hawks wrestling team had three place winners at the STAC Championships at Johnson City on Saturday.
Matthew Mahon was fourth at 145 for the Hawks. He fell to Max Collins of Ellmira by fall in 4:26 in the third-place match.
Nicholas Woodcock finished fifth at 131 pounds for the Hawks. He pinned Nick Hardy of Vestal in 1:56 in the fifth-place match.
Clayton Smith finished sixth at 170 pounds. He fell 5-1 to Kazio Jellick of Maine-Endwell in the fifth-place match.
