STSR PRESENTS THE DRAKE HVAC ATHLETES OF THE WEEK: CORNING'S JARDIN-REED AND ELMIRA'S SMITH (2025-01-21)

There were a lot of great performances this week, leading to some tough choices for the athlete of the week honors. In the end, it was Corning’s Brenden Jardin-Reed and Elmira’s Madison Smith who are the Southern Tier Sports Report, sponsored by Drake HVAC Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning, Athletes of the Week.

Madison Smith
Elmira, bowling
Had a pair of 600 plus series during the week for the Express. Had a 679 series against Maine-Endwell and a 602 against Corning.

Brenden Jardin-Reed
Corning, diving
In a meet against Elmira he set the Section IV Six-dive record, along with setting the team and school records with a score of 378.55. So far this season he already set meet records at the Invite at The Glen and at the Waverly Invite.
