ELMIRA — Corning’s Matthew Mahon was a sixth-place finisher at the Southern Tier Memorial at Lecom Event Center over the weekend.

Mahon reached the fifth-place match after reaching the semifinals on Friday.

Mahon was edged 5-4 sending him to the fifth-place match.
