STAC BOWLING: CORNING BOYS OPEN SEASON WITH SWEEP OF U-E, GIRLS FALL TO U-E (2021-11-29)
Southern Tier Sports ReportThe Corning boys’ bowling team swept Union-Endicott to open the season on Monday afternoon.
The boys won all five points, shooting a 3,287 series to pick up the victory. The girls fell to Union-Endicott in the match at Ideal Lanes.
Cameron Kennedy led Corning with a 693 series and a high games of 279. Noah Freeland shot a 687 series and had a high game of 286.
Devin Bower shot a 682 series with a high game of 238 and Joseph Enderle shot a 651 series with a high game of 246.
The short-handed Corning girls were led by Meghan Sturdevant, who shot a 601 series.
