HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS' WRESTLING: CORNING HONORS SENIORS AS THEY TAKE ON WAVERLY (15 PHOTOS) (2024-12-20) Southern Tier Sports Report CORNING — The Corning Hawks girls’ wrestling team honored their seniors as they hosted Waverly on Thursday night.
The two seniors, Kaegan Rhodes and Kendra Close, were honored before the match. Waverly won the match 25-24.
Lauren Mahon had a pin in the match and also a pin in an exhibition match at 114 pounds. Rhodes had a 10-0 technical fall win at 126.
Jenna Comer won by fall at 138 and Clsoe won by fall at 145. Ava Northrup lost by fall at 185 in an exhibition.
