HIGH SCHOOL BOWLING: CROWN SHOOTS 299 GAMES, 701 SERIES TO LEAD EDISON PAST TIOGA (2024-12-19)

ELMIRA — Edison’s Zack Crown was one pin away from a 300 game and he shot a 700 series as Edison boys beat Tioga on Wednesday night.

Crown had a 299 game for his final game of the game. He crossed over on the 12th ball of the game, catching the head pin and leaving the five pin for the 299. He also had games of 199 and 203 for a 701 series.

Edison shot 710, 836 and 839 for a 2,385 series. Tioga shot 766, 820 and 792 for a 2,378.

Nick Slater led tioga with a 186-206-170-562.

The Edison girls shot 640-644-640-1,924, while Tioga shot 649-652-688-1,989 to take all four points.

Reagan Peris led the Edison girls with a 144-137-196-477, while Kelsey Helmich shot 124-154-214-492 to lead Tioga.
