CORNING — The Corning boys’ bowling team picked up a 4-1 victory over Horseheads on Wednesday afternoon.

Corning shot 1,032, 1,086 and 991 for a 3,109, while Horseheads shot 952, 1,037 and 992 for a 2,981.

Zach Sturdevant shot 192-266-202-660 to lead Corning and PJ Nelson shot 192-267-200-659.

Bentley Goodier shot 237-172-226-635 and Owen Watson shot 226-202-171-599, while Dante White shot 185-179-192-556.

Michael Rennells led Horseheads with a 214-247-237-698, while Caden Bowman shot 187-182-205-574 and Zach Kathan shot 189-202-165-556.

Noah Cady shot 224-139-173-536, while Zane Alexander shot 267-212-479 for two games and Landon Ayres shot 138 for one game.

For JV Corning shot 814, 777 and 824 for a 2,415. Horseheads shot 763, 752 and 773 for a 2,288.
