Southern Tier Sports ReportCORNING — The Horseheads boys’ bowling team had two bowlers shoot series over 600, but they fell to Maine-Endwell 4-1.
Horseheads shot 915, 1,047 and 1,055 for a 3,017, while Maine-Endwell shot 1,077, 1,054 and 919 for a 3,050.
Michael Rennells shot 201-231-235-667 for Horseheads and Noah Cady shot 210-215-206-631.
Zach Kathan shot 160-216-218-594 and Cayden Bowman shot 184-181-227-592, while Landon Ayres shot 160-204-169-533.
The JV boys won 4-1. Horseheads shot 820, 842 and 861 for a 2,523, while Maine-Endwell shot 827, 769 and 802 for a 2,398.
Zane Alexander shot 211, 171, 202 for a 584 and Owen Wood shot 191-202-188-581.
Robert Guardi shot 149-175-169-493, while Gabe Merrill shot 154-133-177-464.
Micah Merrill shot 161-125-286 for two games and Annabella Guardi shot 115 for one game.
