Southern Tier Sports Report ENDICOTT — The Corning girls’ wrestling team finished third at the Union-Endicott girls’ Varsity Tradesman Tournament over the weekend.
Corning had a team score of 137, Homer won at 171.5.
Jenna Comer won the team title at 138 pounds. She was 4-1 on the day. All of her wins were by fall.
Devin Price was third at 138, she went 4-1 on the day. Her lone loss was by fall in 2:41 to Comer.
Ryss Padgett was seventh at 138 pounds.
Lauren Mahon was second at 114 pounds. She had two technical fall wins and a pin.
Kaegan Rhodes was fifth at 126. She went 3-2 on the day, she had a pin in the fifth-place match by 27 seconds.
Kendra Close was second at 145. She went 4-1 on the day.
Ava Northrup was ninth at 235 pounds. She had a pin in 1:52 in the ninth-place match.
