It’s another busy week of high school sports as the winter season heads toward the end of the 2024 calendar year.

Overall there are 37 events this week, including 11 on Tuesday.

Here’s a day-by-day look at what’s on the schedule each day, including how many events each day.

MONDAY (5)
* The Horseheads bowling team hosts Maine-Endwell, Corning is at Johnson City, Elmira hosts U-E and Edison is at Candor.
* The Corning boys’ basketball team hosts Wellsville.

TUESDAY (11)
* The Corning swimming and diving team is at Johnson City and Elmira hosts Vestal.
* The Horseheads wrestling team is at Corning and Elmira is at Ithaca.
* The Horseheads girls’ basketblal team is at Vestal, Corning is at M-E, Elmira is at U-E, Edison is at Newark Valley and Notre Dame is at Trumansburg.
* The Edison boys’ basketball team hosts Newark Valley and Notre Dame hosts Trumansburg.

WEDNESDAY (6)
* Corning bowling hosts Horseheads, Elmira is at Vestal and Edison hosts Tioga.
* The Horseheads boys’ basketball team hosts Vestal, Corning hosts M-E and Elmira hosts U-E.

THURSDAY (6)
* The Horseheads swimming and diving team hosts Maine-Endwell and Corning hosts U-E.
* The Corning wrestling team hosts Waverly and Edison is at Odessa-Montour.

* The Corning girls’ basketball team is at Vestal and Notre Dame hosts Dryden.
* The Corning boys’ basketball team hosts Vestal and Notre Dame is at Dryden.

SATURDAY (5)
* The Horseheads wrestling team is at Vestal and Corning hosts the Greg Partridge Duals, while Elmira is at O-M.
* The Horseheads , Elmira and Edison track and field teams are at Cortland and Corning is at Nazareth.
