HIGH SCHOOL WRESTLING: HORSEHEADS GOES 4-1 AT LINDA STUART DUALS (2024-12-15)

ALBANY — The Horseheads wreslting team went 4-1 on the day at the Linda Stuart Duals on Saturday.

Horseheads had a 71-6 win over Colonie.

Connor McAllister (101), Josh Knapp (108), Tanner Knapp (116) and Nate Miller (124) all had forfeit wins.

Gavin Hornsby won by technical fall at 131, Kole Zufall had a pin at 138, Jack Clate had a pin at 145, Zachary Schrage had a pin at 152, Coleton Owen had a pin at 160, Lucas Mosher had a pin at 170, Jaxson Burchard had a pin at 190 and Seamus Carroll had a pin at 285.

The Blue Raiders had a 65-6 win over Colonie. Joah Knapp (108), Tanner Knapp (124), Schrage (152) and Lucas Mosher (190) had forfeit wins in the match. Nate Miller (116), Clate (145), Owen (160), Hunter Lavigne (215) and Carroll (285) all had wins by fall.

Zuffall (138) and McAllister (101) had major decision wins and Burchard (170) had a 16-13 win in sudden victory 1.

The one loss was to Iona Prep 38-27. Owen had a 1-0 win at 160, Burchard had a pin at 190, Lavigne had a pin at 215, Carroll had a pin at 285 and McAllister had a forfeit win at 101.

Horseheads beat Beekmantown 49-24. Tanner Knapp (124) had a technial fall win, Zufall (138) won by fall and Schrage (152) won by a fall. Owen (160) won by fall, Mosher won by forfeit at 170 and Lavigne had a pin at 190. Carroll won 3-0 at 285 and McAllister won by fall at 101, while Josh Knapp won by technail fall at 108.

The Blue Raiders beat Arlington 57-15. Clate (145) had a technical fall win at Schrage (152), Owen (160) both had falls. Mosher (170) had a technical fall win and Burchard (190), Lavigne (215), Carroll (285) and McAllister (101) all had pins. Josh Knapp won by technical fall at 108 and Tanner Knapp had a pin at 116.
