HIGH SCHOOL BOYS' BASKETBALL: HORSEHEADS EDGES ITHACA IN SIBLEY CONSI GAME (2024-12-07)

OWEGO — The Horseheads boys’ basketball team edged Ithaca 43-41 in the consolation game of the Charlie Sibley Memorial Tournament on Saturday.

Horseheads led 25-17 at the half, but Ithaca outscored them 15-7 in the third to tie things entering the fourth quarter.

Jack Fesetch had a three in the fourth quarter and finished the game with three threes and 12 points. Mason Holloway had eight points for the Blue Raiders in the game.

Kegan Zeller had six points, including four in the final quarter and John Durr had six oints, all in the first half.

Josh Stout had five points and Miles Woodhosue had four points. Griffin Stevens finished with two points in the game.
