COLLEGE CROSS COUNTRY: ELMIRA GRAD DODSON WRAPS UP HUGE SEASON FOR MANSFIELD (2021-11-26)

Elmira graduate Aneisa Dodson wrapped up her sophomore cross country season for Mansfield University earlier this month with a 32nd place finish at the NCAA Division II Atlantic Region Cross Country Championships.

Running the 6K race at Lock Haven University the former Elmira standout was the top Mansfield runner, finishing in 22:45.5.

Dodson had earned an 11th place finish at the PSAC Championships in 23:18.1 and prior to that she took 10th at the R.K. Munsey Invitational to lead Mansfield, finishing in 19:30.8.

Dodson finished 14th at the Don Cathcart Invite in October, in 24:10.8 and at the Lock Haven Invite she finished 26th out of a field of 249 runners with a time of 22:44.5.

The sophomore led Mansfield in the season-opening race at Mansfield, taking fourth in 19:38.

Dodson was either the first, or second, Mansfield runner in ever race this season.
