COLLEGE WOMEN'S BASKETBALL: LOCALS PLAYING WELL FOR NAZARETH, LITTLEFIELD NETS 16 IN COLLEGIATE DEBUT (2024-11-19)
Southern Tier Sports ReportEdison’s Payton Littlefield had a big start to her college career for the Nazareth women’s basketball team, while Horseheads’ Madilann Johnson is also off to a strong start for Nazareth.
Littlefield had 16 points in her first collegiate game, a 83-32 win over Hilbert.
The Edison grad was 6-for-11 from the field and 4-for-6 from the three-point arc in the game. She added a rebound in the game.
In the second game, an 80-67 loss to Ohio Wesleyan, the Edison grad was 2-for-2 from the field and one-of-one from three for five points with a rebound.
Johnson has started both games. She had five points, three steals, two assists and three rebounds in the opener and then had four points and a steal with three rebounds in the second game.
