STAC CROSS COUNTRY: ELMIRA GIRLS GO 1-2 AT STAC LAST CHANCE MEET (2024-10-29)
Southern Tier Sports ReportOWEGO — Elmira girls went 1-2 at the STAC Last Chance Meet on Tuesday night with Ella Devlin winning the race.
Devlin won in 16:02.4 followed by Madelyn Wise in 16:42.6.
Horseheads’ Alexus Borek was 12th in 18:42.2 and Elmira’s Mariah Faucett was 19th in 20:41.5. Alanna Stillman of Horseheads was 21st in 21:01.1 followed by teammate Cecilia Cowen in 21:10.
Owego won the team title at 23 followed by Chenango Forks at 32 and Chenango Valley at 76.
For the boys Owego won at 29 points, followed by Chenango Valley (49), Elmira (77) and Horseheads (84).
Elmira’s James Lovell was fifth in 14:44 and Horseheads’ Abdiel Basabakwins was 10th in 15:19. Joel Scibek of Horseheads was 12th in 15:30 and Ayden Coleman of Elmira was 13th in 15:38.
Elmira’s Jadon Lagonegro was 16th in 16:09 followed by teammate Henry Mletzko in 16:10 and Horseheads’ Drake Ernst was 19th in 16:24.
Tobias Tremble of Horseheads was 21st in 16:34 followed by teammates Keegan Duart (16:40), RJ Bigelow (16:46) and Christian Scibek (16:48).
Aaron Skinkle of Elmira was 26th in 17:13 followed by teammates Jaydan Roberts (17:18) and Romeo Cade (17:36).
In the girls modified race Elmira won at 17, followed by Owego at 41.
Molly Doran of Elmira won in 10:32.3 and teammate Paityn Walburn was third in 12:12.2 followed by teammate Annalyse Ferriter In 12:21.7.
Ammeera Mahmood was seventh in 13:03.5 and Elmira’s Mallory Duffy was 10th in 13:32.2 followed by Alaina Locker in 14:36.7.
For the modified boys Owego won at 28, while Elmira was third at 55 points.
Elmira’s Aydin Butters was ninth in 11:20.1 followed by Emry Bahantka in 11:33.4. Xavier Keough of Elmira was 13th in 12:01.7 and teammate Alexander Barletta was 18th in 12:17.1.
Elmira’s Adam Loftus was 20th in 12:31.1 followed by Landon Stein in 12:31.6.
