“It was my last high school home game ever, so the hat trick was extra special tonight. I give the credit to my teammates for making it possible for me to score. I am so proud of the team and so excited to play in the sectional finals.”

Notre Dame had eight shots and four corner kicks and Oxford had four shots and three corner kicks.

Jhamariah Maxwell had two assists in the game and MK Young had an assist.

“It feels so great to win,” Young said. “I’m so proud of the entire team for really coming together. I feel like we played really well and didn’t put our heads down when we were tied.

“I feel we played the way we practiced and it paid off. It is so exciting to go to a sectional final because I haven’t done this since seventh grade, so it’s really an amazing feeling.”
