COLLEGE MEN'S BASKETBALL: ELMIRA GRAD MOFFE A PART OF HISTORY FOR THE CITADEL AT DUKE (2021-11-23)

Southern Tier Sports Report
Elmira graduate Tyler Moffe was a part of history at Cameron Indoor Stadium on Monday night.

While the Citadel fell 107-81 to No. 5 ranked Duke, they set a new Cameron record for three-pointers made by an opponent in the game.

The Citadel connected on 18-of-34 three-pointers in the game. The 18 makes are the most by any team at Cameron, breaking the old mark of 15 set by Florida State in 2017.

It’s the most three-pointers that The Citadel has had in a game since Nov. 27, 2018.

Moffe had a big all-around game for Elmira helping to run the offense and set up a lot of the threes. Moffe had seven points, seven assists and five rebounds in the game.

The Elmira graduate also was part of the three-point barrage, hitting one of the threes in the game.

Moffe averages 11 points and five assists this season for The Citadel.

The Citadel returns to action at South Carolina State at 2 p.m. on Sunday.
