HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS' SOCCER: CORNING PICKS UP NON-LEAGUE WIN OVER ATHENS (24 PHOTOS) (2024-10-15) Southern Tier Sports Report CORNING — The Corning Hawks picked up a 2-0 non-league win over Athens out of Pennsylvania over the weekend.
It was a scoreless game at the half, when Lia Mazzalli scored off a corner kick from Lilia Mack early in the second half to get the Hawks on the board.
Hayden Robertson then scored on a penalty kick to cap the scoring.
Rukma Chaudhury had a big night in goal.
