PROFESSIONAL HOCKEY: BEECHER HAS GOAL AND AN ASSIST FOR BRUINS AGAINST PANTHERS (2024-10-14)

Elmira’s Johnny Beecher had a goal and an assist for the Boston Bruins in a 4-3 loss to the Florida Panthers on Monday.

Beecher scored the first goal of the game, 4:53 into the contest and he assisted on the Bruins final goal, 14:07 into the second period.

Beecher had a big all-around game, going 7-for-9 on faceoffs and delivering two hits in the game.

Beecher played 13 minutes and 47 seconds, 11 minutes and 15 seconds even strength and two minutes and 32 seconds on the penalty kill.

Beecher now has a goal and three assists in four games this year. He’s had an assist in three of the four games this year. Beecher is now tied for 20th in the league with four points.
