HIGH SCHOOL GYMNASTICS: CORNING TAKES 2ND AT MCA, LAMBERSON 2ND IN ALL-AROUND (2025-10-11)

BYRON — The Corning Hawks gymnastics team took second on Friday at MCA Gymnastics.

Genesee Valley took first with a 114.7 score.

Freshman Ella Lamberson was second in the all-around with a 31.6. She took first on uneven bars with a 7.85 and second on the vault with a 7.7. She was second on the beam with a 7.8 and second on the floor with an 8.25.

Freshman Lyla Squier was fourth in the all-around. She took third in the floor exercise with a 7.35, fourth on the beam with a 7.0 and sixth on the vault with a 7.25.

Junior Amanda McEwen was fifth in the all-around and fifth on the balance beam. Kaylee Scolaro was sixth in the all-around.

The gymnasts will celebrate their seniors on Friday, Oct. 25 at Elmira Gymnastics Club at 7:30 p.m.
