IAC CROSS COUNTRY: EDISON, ND RUNNERS FIND SUCCESS AT IAC LARGE-SCHOOL MEET (2024-10-09)

NEWARK VALLEY — Three locals earned top 10 finishers for Edison and Notre DAme at the IAC large-school meet.

Edison’s boys were third at 89 points with Trumansburg winning at 37.

Notre Dame’s Gavin Meier was third in the boys race at 18:41.1 and Edison’s Jameson Duggan was seventh in 19:47.6.

Edison’s Kaleb Podoliak was 18th in 21:17.8 and Zachary Sternfels of Edison was 21st in 21:34.2 followed by Augusta Ector in 21:34.6.

Edison’s Dillan Allyn-Nobles was 30th in 23:09.9 and Notre Dame’s Robert Sharp was 35th in 24:17.3 followed by Edison’s Carter Smith in 24:30.6.

Edison’s Carson Balash was 39th in 25:40 with Trevor Agan of Notre Dame 41st in 26:50.5. Owen Neidrich of Notre Dame was 44th in 27:40.8 and Edison’s Jordan Elliott was 51st in 31:13.3 followed by teammate Shawn Kelly in 32:29.4.

Edison’s Mayla Falank was 10th in the girls race in 23:52.8 and Notre DAme’s Marta Albaladejo Tejedor was 16th in 25:03.9 followed by teammate Lylie Colunio in 25:16.3.

Edison’s Olivia Vinsek was 28th in 28:33 and Riley Shilling of Edison was 36th in 31:45.9 followed by Madison Palmieri in 32:26.5.

In modified girls Olivia Welch was second in 11:11.6 and teammate Emma Rose Deats was fourth in 11:30.9. Paisley Hamas of Edison was 12th in 12:30.8 and Aubriella Ector was 18th in 13:29.5. Eva Mirando was 21st in 14:06.8 and Parker Lincoln was 25th in 16:23.8 and Maricely Sando was 31st in 18:22.9.

For the boys Mark Schillo of Edison was fifth in 10:24.6 and Grayson Margeson was 12th in 11:10.6. Jeremiah Hubschmitt was 21st in 12:36.6. Camden Smith is 23rd in 12:44.5 with Sawyer Burleigh 28th in 14:38.4 followed by Cyrus Bidwell in 14:41.8.
