STAC GIRLS' SWIMMING & DIVING: CORNING CELEBRATES SENIOR NIGHT WITH WIN OVER ELMIRA (24 PHOTOS) (2024-10-08)

CORNING — The Corning Hawks swimming and diving team celebrated senior night with a 91-80 win over Elmira on Tuesday night.

Corning won the 200 medley relay in 2:06.32 and in the 200 free Corning went 1-2-3. Nicole Miller won in 2:20.17 followed by Lauren Mahon (2:27.06) and Brooklyn Gordon (2:28.48).

Corning’s Alexys Nale won the 200 IM in 2:34.04 followed by Elmira’s Madelyn Cavalier (2:37.29) and Corning’s Erika Liu (2:47).

The Hawks went 1-2-3 in the 50 free. Maria Kuksenkova won in 27.74 followed by Devin Price (27.75) and Morgan Dahlman (27.90).

Corning’s Cella McLaughlin won the diving at 292.45 followed by teammates Nicole Gaskievicz at 227.80 and Wendy Lynch at 216.40.

Cavalier won the 100 fly for Elmira in 1:08.44 followed by Corning’s Alyssa Reimsnyder (1:16.66) and Miller (1:16.99).

The Hawks went 1-2-3 in the 100 free. Kuksenkova won in 1:01.28 followed by Ellie Ballard (1:03.71) and Gordon (1:07.15).

Price won the 500 free in 5:53.36 followed by teammate Reese Conway (6:33) and Elmira’s Ava Sherman (6:38.44).

Corning had the top time in the 200 free relay as an exhibition in 1:54.71 with Elmira taking first place with a time of 2:07.32.

In the 100 back Nale had the top time as an exhibition in 1:07.83 followed by Dahlman in 1:10.45.

Scarlett Hollenbeck of Elmira took first place in 1:19.34 followed by Payton Dotts (1:19.78).

Liu had the top time as an exhibition in the 100 breaststroke in 1:20.20 and Mahon had the third time in 1:30.12.

Maren Novotny took first place for Elmira in 1:26.81 and Aubrey Newkirk was second in 1:33.36.

Corning had the top time in the 400 free relay in 4:17.99 as an exhibition, Elmira took first place in 4:35.61.
