STAC BOYS' SOCCER: HORSEHEADS EARNS SCORELESS TIE AGAINST STATE-RANKED ITHACA (2024-10-08)

ITHACA — The Horseheads boys’ soccer team went ont he road and came away with a scoreless tie against the Little Red.

Facing an Ithaca team, who has already claimed the STAC West title and is ranked 17th in the state rankings in AAA, the Blue Raiders got seven saves from Gavin McInerney in the tie.

The game ended scoreless after the two overtimes with Leonard Levy recording eight saves for the Little Red.

“Well played match by both squads,” Horseheads coach Mark Mucci said.
