SECTION 4 FOOTBALL: ELMIRA HEADS ON THE ROAD FOR DAY GAME IN ITHACA (2024-09-27)

ITHACA — The Elmira football team hits the road for the second straight week as they head to Ithaca for a Saturday day game.

A week ago the Express picked up a win at Vestal, and they are trying to continue to get better each game.

“We try to get better every week,” Elmira coach Jimmy McCauley said. “I thought the kids executed well enough to win. By no means were we perfect.”

While the win was nice, the Express know they still have work to do.

“We have to find ways to get better each week,” McCauley said.
