FOOTBALLRegional final, 6 p.m. at VestalCORNING VS. CICERO NORTH SYRACUSEThe Hawks look for a spot in the state final four as they compete in the regional final. Two years ago the two teams met in the regional final with CNS winning 25-24 on a last-second field goal. Corning is ranked 14th in the state rankings at 8-1 on the year, while CNS is ranked 18th and is 8-2 on the year.
CROSS COUNTRYFederation ChampionshipsAt Bowdoin Park (Wappingers Falls)
Girls race 12:15 p.m., boys race 1:30 p.m.Horseheads’ Axl Andrus and Vicky Mordvinova of Elmira are among the athletes competing in the Federation Championships. The two will run against the best in the state, in all classes. Mordvinova made her first trip to states last week, while Andrus had to quarantine last week and he missed the state meet.
