Southern Tier Sports ReportCORNING —The Corning Hawks ran into a Binghamton team that had three golfers shoot under 40 as the Hawks fell to the Patriots 197-217 at Corning Country Club.
Dom Weed and Sam Masaki each shot rounds of 42 to lead the Hawks.
Ethan Ford shot a 43 for Corning and Dom Dinardo and Connor Reed both shot rounds of 45, while Bryce Clark shot a 46.
Max Lisio shot a one-over-par 35 to earn medalist honors for Binghamton.
Sam Ligas and rady McManus each shot rounds of 39 for the Patriots.
Rocco Silsbee shot a 41 for Binghamton and Dom Brunthon and Finn Newton each shot rounds of 43.
Ethan Yarnell shot a 44, Caden Barrett had a 45, Finn Barber had a 46 to lead Corning’s JV golfers.
Kohl Hogue shot a 50, Carter Sithman and Nick Peet each shot a 52. Isaiah Kohler shot a 54 and Evan Riley had a round of 56.
Carson Travis and Ty Miller each shot a 41 for Binghamton JV. London Travis had a 44, Ryan Mallory had a 55 and Josh Mallory had a 62.
