HIGH SCHOOL BOYS' GOLF: FESETCH SHOOTS EVEN PAR, HORSEHEADS EDGED BY M-E (2024-09-09)

HORSEHEADS — Jack Fesetch had an even-par round, but the Horseheads golf team was edged by Maine-Endwell 195-201 on Monday.

Fesetch had an even-par round of 35 at Soaring Eagles.

Mason Holloway and Hunter Earl each shot 40 for Horseheads and Mo Cardinale and Adam Bailey both had rounds of 43. Josh Stout shot a 44.

Blaise Brixner shot a 32 to earn medalist honors for Maine-Endwell and Tina Shattuck shot a 36, while Chase Buckley had a 39.

Frankie Shattuck had a 43 and Riley Fiacco shot a 45, while Matt Leniek had a 47.

Extra golfers for Horseheads were Jordan Cook (46) and David Burczynski (49). Boedi Knapp shot a 51, Oliver Fuksman and Carter Douglas each shot a 54 and James Hepinger shot a 63.
