ENDWELL — Luca Capilli had a pair of goals as the Elmira Express edged Maine-Endwell 2-1 on the road Thursday night.

Elmira moves to 2-0 on the year with the win. Parker Moses had the goal for the Spartans.

“Hard fought, gritty win for the boys on the road,” Elmira coach Derek Hamilton said. “Playing a man down, the defense was solid for 80 minutes and didn’t leave much space in their attack.”
