ENDICOTT — The Horseheads boys’ JV soccer team opened the year with a 5-2 win over Union-Endicott on Thursday.

Freshman Keenan McCarthy had a hat trick for Horseheads and fellow freshman Beckett Doane finished with two goals.

Eighth-graders Connor Miele and Mason Earl each had two assists in the game, while Ethan Wilson had an assist.
