ELMIRA CHAPTER OF FOOTBALL OFFICIALS SEEKING NEW OFFICIALS (2024-07-23)
The Sports ReportsELMIRA — The Elmira Chapter of Football
Officials is seeking new officials, and will be holding a meeting July
30 at 7 p.m. at the White Eagle Club, located here at 364 Millard St.
“Prior
knowledge is not necessary,” said a chapter official. “We provide
weekly training at our meetings, but new officials will spend a lot of
time with our Mentor Official who will specifically work with them.”
The Elmira chapter meets every Tuesday night thereafter throughout the season.
Would-be officials are encouraged to attend the first meeting, and sign up.
Everyone is encouraged to join, regardless of race, religion, sex, creed, etc.
