ND STUDENT, COACH BRING HOME GOLD FROM WORLD GAMES IN PARIS (2024-07-06)

A Notre Dame student, and coach, came home with some hardware from the World Games in Paris, France recently.

Notre Dame boys’ basketball assistant coach Trentton Ray was the head coach of the 15u PHD Hoops USA team and they ent undefeated at the World Games.

The USA team won against CVL Academie, a team from France in the final.

Max O’Connor, who will be at Notre Dame this coming year, was on the 15u roster, along with Ithaca’s Rocco Sayers.

Two Section 4 athletes were also on the 20u roster, that got third place. Connor Van Der Sommen from Sidney and Domenic Prince-Lasicki from Union-Endicott were on that team.

The 15u team was 6-0 in the tournament.
