ELMIRA — The Elmira 12u all-stars fell in bracket play to Waverly on Wednesday, 20-5.

Elmira led 3-2 after one inning, but Waverly scored three in the second and three in the third to lead 8-3.

Elmira got within 8-5, but a 12-run seventh inning by Waverly put the game away.

Camden Roberts had two hits for Elmira with a run scored and Manny White had a hit, an RBI and a run scored.

Jaziya Hollis had a double and two RBI and Emery Bohantaka had a hit and scored two runs, while Mason Caeller scored a run.

Hollis struck out seven on the mound in three innings.

Corning scored 13runs in the first two innings to reach the 12u semifinals.

Noah Magnuson had a home run and two doubles, with an RBI and three runs scored and Colton Warner, Ronnie LaFever, Damon Vosburgh and Clark Castilone all had two hits in the game.

LaFever had a triple and double and he had two RBI and two runs scored while Vosburgh had a triple, two RBI and two runs scored.

Warner had a double and two runs scored, while Edward Goodman, Dylan Bierwiler, Riley Rosnebaker, Cooper Adriance and Caeden Cervoni all had hits in the game. Riley, Cooper and Goodman each drove in runs, while Bierwiler had two RBI.

Goodwin scored two runs and Bierwiler scored a run.

LaFever worked two hitless innings, striking out six and walking one, and Magnuson struck out all three batters he faced in a perfect inning as CPPL tossed a combined no-hitter.
