COLLEGE BASEBALL: ELMIRA GRAD MAX ODUM EARNS ALL-CONFERENCE HONORS; LOCALS HAVE BIG YEARS FOR WELLS (2024-05-20)

Elmira graduate Max Odum earned second-team AMCC honors for the Wells College baseball team.

The senior hit .331 this year with 33 RBI and 44 hits.

Odum had a .556 slugging percentage and scored 41 runs, while stealing 16 bases. He had 12 doubles, three triples and four home runs.

Zack Odum hit .336 on the year for Wells, he had 35 runs scored, 46 hits and 25 RBI. He had five doubles, a triple and a home run, and he led the team with 18 stolen bases.

Corning grad Mason Smith played in 10 games. He scored two runs. Edison grad Ashton Colunio played in three games and scored a run.

Smith pitched 37 1/3 innings, going 4-3 on the mound with 31 strikeouts.
