Horseheads graduate Tess Cites and the Villanova softball team won their third Big East Championship in four years with a 4-1 win over Creighton.

Cites scored one of the Villanova runs in the win.

Cites hit .313 on the season with nine home runs, 24 RBI and 49 runs scored. She had a .452 on-base percentage.
