COLLEGE WOMEN'S LACROSSE: HORSEHEADS GRAD SNYDER HELPS COASTAL CAROLINA WIN FIRST CONFERENCE TITLE IN PROGRAM HISTORY (2024-05-04)

Horseheads graduate Avery Snyder helped the Coastal Carolina women’s lacrosse team win its first conference title in program history on Saturday as they beat top-seeded Jacksonville, 10-9 in the ASUN Conference.

The win comes after a 13-11 win in the semifinals over Lindenwood.

Coastal Carolina is 14-5 on the year and advances to the NCAA Championships for the first time in program history.

Snyder started in the midfield and had a shot in the championship game. The Horseheads graduate had a goal in the semifinal win.

Snyder has seen goals and 17 assists this year, fourth on the team in assists. She has 24 points on the year.
