HIGH SCHOOL SOFTBALL: HORSEHEADS PICKS UP VICTORY AT SIDNEY (2024-04-29)

SIDNEY — Down 2-1 after three innings, Horseheads scored two in the fourth, and three in the fifth, sixth and seventh innings in a 12-4 win over Sidney.

Sidney scored two in the first and the Blue Raiders got a run in the second before the big innings for the Blue Raiders.

Megan Wolf was 3-for-5 with a home run, two doubles, an RBI and two runs scored and Caitlin Yearick had a 3-for-3 day with a triple, an RBI and three runs scored.

Olivia French had two hits, with a home run, two RBI and a run scored.

Raegan Burge was 3-for-5 with a double, an RBI and a run scored, while Chloe Perritt had a double, four RBI and a run scored.

Sophia Bonnell had a hit and score two runs and Maddie Ribble had a hit and two RBI, while Kailey McCormick scored two runs in the game.

Perritt worked six innings, allowing three hits and two runs, striking out nine. Wolf worked an inning allowing a hit and two runs, striking out three.
