CORNING — Joe Fucito had seven points as the Corning boys’ lacrosse team beat Johnson City 14-3 on Friday night.

Fucito had five goals and two assists and Tully Fratarcangelo had three goals, while Clayton Smith had two goals and three assists.

Dom Dinardo had a goal and two assists and James Freeman and Zach Spaulding each had goals for the Hawks.

Gavyn Hogue had two assists and Kohl Hogue and Deegan Rankin each had assists in the game.

Brody Wolfe was 11-for-12 on face-offs, Brenden Jardin-Reed was 5-for-5 and Gavin Glick was 2-for-2.

Ian Harpster had two saves for Corning, Landyn Proudfoot had two and Alex Matteson had two.

“We played a very clean game with 11 out of 14 goals assisted, cleared well and was patient on offense,” Corning coach Chris Hogue said.

Joey Reyled had two goals for Johnson City and Levi Phukouski had a goal.

Chris Kosloski had 16 saves for Johnson City.

Corning is at McQuaid, who is 10-0 on the year and state-ranked, on Monday.
