MYRTLE BEACH — Elmira fell to Liverpool 17-9 to wrap up their trip to Myrtle Beach on Thursday.

Liverpool scored three in the first, before Elmira answered with two

Liverpool went up 5-2 at the top of the second, but Elmira scored four in the bottom of the inning to go up 6-5.

Liverpool scored four in the third and didn’t trail again.

Mike Palmer hit a two-run home run in the first inning to start the scoring for Elmira in the game.

Brady Morrell had two hits, with a double, two RBI and a run scored and Bryce Mashanic had a triple and scored a run.

Ben Rhode had two hits, an RBI and two runs scored and Logan Demember had a hit, three RBI and a run scored.

Aiden Palmer had a hit and Bobby Cavalier and Quinn Hanrahan had hits. Hanrahan drove in a run and Cavalier scored a run, while Ashtyn Traugott-Knoll and Jack Stemerman each scored runs in the game.

Aiden Palmer worked three innings, striking out four and Bobby Cavalier, jack Cavalier and Stemerman pitched in relief, striking out five between them. Stemerman threw a scoreless one-hit inning of relief.
