COLLEGE WOMEN'S TRACK AND FIELD: CORNING GRAD BUTLER SETS VIRGINIA TECH RECORD IN 1500 (2024-04-25)

Corning graduate Lindsey Butler recorded her fifth program record at Virginia Tech last week as she competed in the 1500 invite at the Wake Forest Invitational.

Butler crossed the finish line third among collegiate athletes with a personal best time of 4:07.96. Her record breaking time currently ranks third in the NCAA East with one month until regionals, and is ranked first in the ACC.

Butler holds the indoor records in the 800 (2:01.23), 1000 (2:41), mile (4:31.41) and distance medley relay (10:52.51).
