Elmira’s Johnny Beecher won six of nine face-offs as the Boston Bruins took a 2-1 series lead over Toronto in the Eastern Conference playoff opening round.

Beecher won the six face-offs in 10 minutes and 28 seconds of ice time. He played seven minutes and 16 seconds even strength and then played three minutes and 12 seconds on the penalty kill. That was the third most time on the penalty kill of any forward for the Bruins.

Beecher had four hits in the game and blocked two shots. He had one shot in the game and he played 18 shifts in the game.
