HIGH SCHOOL BOYS' LACROSSE: HORSEHEADS ROLLS TO WIN OVER BINGHAMTON (2024-04-24)

BINGHAMTON — The Horseheads boys’ lacrosse team got eight points from Braden Woodworth as they picked up a 17-1 win over Binghamton on Wednesday.

Horseheads led 10-0 at the half on the way to the win.

Woodworth had four goals and four assists and Zach Lese had four goals and two assists.

Brady Kelly and Brogan Sullivan had two goals and an assist each in the game and Griffin Stevens had two goals in the game.

Joey Cain had two goals and Colton Cox had a goal and an assist, and Boe Briggs finished with an assist.

Andrew Potter and Luke L’Amoreaux each finished with three saves for the Blue Raiders.

Stevens was 5-for-5 on face-offs and Briggs was 12-for-14. Josh McCawley also took two face-offs.

Jacob Shannon had a goal for Binghamton and Jack Segure finished with three saves.

“I thought our boys played unselfish lacrosse tonight, assisting on 10-of-17 goals,” Horseheads coach Jason Neubauer said. “Hats off to Binghamton for playing hard the entire game. We need to get right back to work tomorrow to get ready to play a tough Ithaca team on Friday.”

Horseheads hosts Ithaca on Friday.
