MYRTLE BEACH, SC — The Notre Dame baseball team got an 11-0 win over Marcellus to start play in Myrtle Beach during their spring break trip to the Cal Ripken Experience.

Notre Dame scored three first-inning runs on their way to the win.

Luke Richards threw the five-inning complete game, allowing four hits and striking out seven.

Richards also led the Crusaders with two hits, an RBI and three runs scored.

Alex Daugherty, Jhamez Boyd, Jahmeire Keyser, Sebastian Capriotti, Brenden O’Brien and Anthony Barkley all had hits for Notre Dame.

Daugherty scored a run and Boyd had an RBI and a run scored and Keyser had two RBI and two runs scored.

Logan Meisner had an RBI and a run scored and Capriotti had two RBI and a run scored, while O’Brien and Barkley each had an RBI and a run scored.
