ELMIRA GYMNASTICS CLUB FINDS SUCCESS AS THEY HOST SPRING FLING (24 PHOTOS) (2024-04-15)

BIG FLATS — Four Elmira Gymnastics Club gymnasts won first-place all-around in their age groups at the Spring Fling at Elmira’s club over the weekend.

EGC gymnasts also captured 16 first-place awards, four on the vault, two on the bars, six on the beam and four on the floor.

The Excel Bronze took first place as a team and the Xcel Silver, Gold and Diamond took second place, while the Xcel Platinum took third.

All Elmira Gymnastics Club gymnasts have qualified for the New York State Championship meet which will be held in Suffern on April 26-28.

In the junior division Olivia Beavers of Elmira won the all-around title and also won the beam, vault and floor and took second on the bars.

Audrey Earl in junior B won the all-around and was second on the vault and bars, won the beam and took third on the floor.

Paige Vaughan won the senior all-around and was first on the floor and vault and second on the bars and beam and Brynn Sullivan won the all-around on Senior A winning the bars and beams on the day.

Alice Zou in junior was second in the vault, beam and floor and took second overall and Noelle Case won the beam and was second on the floor in Junior B and took fourth overall.

Winifred McConnell was second on the floor and third in the bars and Aubrey Scott won the vault and floor and took third on the beam and was fourh overall in junior B.

Gianna Fusco was second on the floor and third on the vault and fourth overall in senior.

Brynn Simons won the beam and was third on the bars in senior and in Junior A Alison Manwaring was second on bars and second on vault and third overall.

In the All division doing session five Brooklyn McHenry won the vault, bars, beam and floor and all-around.

Gabriella Miller in junior A won the beam and in senior Olivia Monichetti was second on the floor and third on beam, bars and vault to take third overall.

Samantha Place was second on the floor in junior B and Lilly Collier won the beam in senior A, while Madison Farrell won the vault in junior and Lyla Squier was third on the vault in junior B.
