Ramstine then laced a triple down the right-field line, bringing Jean home for the second run of the inning. Ramstine would come around to score on an Express error, giving the Purple & Gold a three-run advantage out of the gate.
    •    Neither team scored in the second inning, and after Dawe tossed a scoreless top of the third, Kaitlyn Belmont '24 reached on an infield single, which drove in Ramstine to make it a 4-0 ballgame. Riley Storrs '27 brought home Belmont on an RBI single with two outs in the inning, giving the Soaring Eagles a 5-0 lead after three.
    •    EC would double its lead in the bottom of the fourth. Olivia Roccabruna '27 led off for the Soaring Eagles and reached on a triple. Curkendall stepped up next and found the center field grass to bring home Elmira's sixth run of the game, with Jean following up with an RBI triple. Later in the inning, Hannah Colwill '27 notched an RBI triple of her own, driving in Justice Green '24, before she scored on an error to give the Soaring Eagles a 10-0 lead.
    •    Dawe would cap off her complete game by mowing the Express down 1-2-3 in the top of the fifth, closing out the win for the Purple & Gold.
    •    The second game began with a bang, as Ramstine launched a grand slam to right-center field in the first inning, giving the Soaring Eagles an early 4-0 lead.
    •    After a scoreless second inning, Elmira scored three more runs in the bottom of the third, starting with an error that allowed Ramstine to score. Belmont then brought Katie Distefano '24 home with a sacrifice fly, who scored on an infield single by Natalie Tom '25 to make it 7-0 Elmira.
    •    Cadey Wheat '27 took over in the fourth inning for Maddy Ward '27, who had tossed three scoreless innings for the Soaring Eagles. After an Express runner reached third with one out, Wheat notched a strikeout and a groundout to keep Wells off the scoreboard.
    •    Wells would score its first run of the day in the top of the fifth inning on a bases-loaded single, driving in one to cut the deficit to 7-1.
    •    Elmira began the bottom of the sixth with a Roccabruna walk. The second baseman would come around to score on an error by the Wells center fielder after a Jean base hit went under her glove. Jenna Burns '26 singled to drive in Jean and give Elmira the 9-1 victory in six innings.
