Southern Tier Sports ReportBINGHAMTON — Elmira threw a combined two-hitter, and had 12 hits offensively as they beat Binghamton 15-0 on Thursday.
Elmira scored four in the first and a run in the second, and then added five runs in each the fifth and sixth innings to put the game away.
Aleida Agosto struck out eight in five innings of two-hit ball, and Madison Smith worked one hitless, scoreless inning, striking out one.
Addy Chorney, Lily Cornacchio, Ava Sherman and Kaelynn Thomas all had two hits in the game.
Cornacchio and Chorney scored two runs and Sherman and Thomas each had an RBI and two runs scored.
Ryleigh Ogden had a hit, two RBI and two runs scored and Maddy Cavalier had a hit and scored three runs, while Sunny Taft had a hit and scored two runs.
Hailey Greene had a hit and two RBI, while Agosto had an RBI.
